This volume of Studia Nordica is intended to give representative examples of eastern European studies pertaining to the description of Scandinavian languages. Fifteen papers by scholars from Poland, Hungary, The Czech Republic, Slovenia and Russia are included. These papers were - with one exception - first published between 1971 and 1995. A majority of the studies are from Poland and Hungary.
